Chiriqui Panama & Darien Panama

Panama is a place with several currently successful economic sectors.  One example is the construction industry.  This industry is fed by the booming tourism industry.  But both are pumping money into Panama real estate. 

Panama real estate is quite successful.  In recent years there has been a steady increase in the number of projects started, as well as homes bought and sold.  A large portion of this business is foreign from Panama in that it comes from outside investors.  Many of these investors are from Europe, Canada, and the United States.  They were either drawn to Panama by its incredible tourism opportunities, or by the current buzz regarding investing in Panama real estate.

There are many areas and cities within Panama that have shown recent increases in real estate action.  These cities include Panama City, Chiriqui, and Bocas del Toro.  More remote areas feed tourists and nature lovers, but don’t’ do much in terms of real estate.

Chiriqui Panama is located in the southwest of the country.  Bocas del Toro is located to its north.  Volcan Baru can be found within the province, mimicking the rest of the mountainous terrain.  David Panama, the capital of the Chiriqui Panama province, is home to the Ngbe-Bugle Indians. 

Chiriqui Panama does quite well in the real estate sector.  There has been a steady increase in Chiriqui Panama’s real estate in cities like David.  Many retirees enjoy their investments in this beautiful province.  There are a lot of people, and a lot of affordable real estate.  Outside investors who understand the future growth of the various areas within the province have been pumping money into the cities at an increasing rate. 

Darien Panama is also located on the Pacific.  It is a more remote and contains fewer inhabitants than other large cities within the republic.  In terms of geographic mass, however, Darien Panama is the largest province in Panama.  There is a large amount of thick tropical rainforest, as well as indigenous tribes.  Many people enjoy visiting Darien for its world-class bird viewing.   Many species of indigenous birds exist, giving the nature expert of even the keenest eye a challenging and thrilling journey.  Darien Panama offers a lot to anyone who is respectful to and interested in nature. 

Whether you refer to cities like David in Chiriqui Panama, or Darien Panama, foreigners are present, as are their hard earned dollars.  Many tourists visit each area.  The only difference is, more seem to live within Chiriqui Panama.  It is a populous bustling province whereas Darien Panama is quite a bit more off the beaten path.  But, where Darien lacks population, it makes up for in tourism revenue.
